Hannah grew up knowing she loved animals from the first pit bull she owned. She would save up all of her allowance just to buy her pit baby the best toys, food, and treats. Her goal as a kid was to be surrounded by the sounds of animals.
Hannah decided she couldn’t quite be a vet yet…. So she found love in Doggie Daycares. Since the age of 16, Hannah has worked at 2 Daycares. She knew it would be hard work but she was dedicated to her love for animals, it made it all worth it when she saw those dogs go home loved and cared for.
Olivia has always had a deep love for dogs, growing up surrounded by them and forming a special bond with each furry friend she encountered. Her passion for dogs led her to work at a local doggy daycare for 10 years, where she started as a kennel attendant and eventually became the manager. During her time there, Olivia gained valuable experience in dog care, behavior, and became a trusted figure for both pups and their parents.
Throughout her life, Olivia has always owned multiple dogs, and she currently shares her home with her two beloved pups and two young boys. Now, she’s thrilled to join the Canine Cottage team, excited to build lasting relationships with all the new dogs and their families, and continue her dedication to providing exceptional care for every pup that walks through the door!

Will grew up with one dog, Jezebel, and currently has two cats, Loki and Finn. He has always wanted his first job to be one that works with animals.
Jezebel passed away, unfortunately, 2 years ago so when Will learned that Canine Cottage Salem was hiring Kennel Attendants, he was immediately interested and very excited. Will joined the Cottage in the Summer of 2024 and looks forward to continuing his work here for the foreseeable future.
Charlie grew up in a farm in rural New Hampshire which started his love for all animals. After graduating high school, he moved to California where he spent his time fostering puppies for Canine Companions for independence and two of their main breeding males.
After 25 years, he left California for South Carolina where he worked with a rescue group and fostered many puppies till finding his foster fail as they called it. His name was Tank. Charlie’s new best friend.
In his spare time, he helps with charity ATV rides to raise money for the less fortunate in his area. Charlie lives in the mountains and enjoys the peace and quiet it offers.
Allie is a Jersey girl who for most of her life had cats, but dogs always had a piece of her heart. She graduated high school and then went on to pursue a Computer Science degree. From there, she worked in schools and loved it, so she went back to school to study Elementary and Special education.
Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her 3 year old pup named Kona and her fiancé. Allie’s favorite part of the job is hanging out with the dogs (obviously). She also loves being able to settle the mind of a nervous owner about leaving their fur-baby at Canine Cottage Salem, especially as a Cottage customer herself. She also loves being able to give the pups a fun day and break out of their shells to turn into confident, playful ones, that warms her heart!
Summer grew up about 20 minutes south of Salem, Virginia and had just about every animal you could think of growing up. Her pet hedgehog was one of her favorites, but she’s also owned chameleons, lizards, horses, fish, bunnies, cats, and of course dogs! She was homeschooled from sixth grade until her senior year of high school. She pursued a degree in biology at Roanoke College with the intention to be an exotic animal veterinarian, but fell in love with grooming during her junior year of college.
Dog grooming was her first “big girl” job and quickly turned into her career! In 2021, Summer received her Pet Groomer certification from Paragon School of Pet Grooming and found her home at Canine Cottage Salem in November of 2023! Summer was promoted to Grooming Manager in April of 2025 and is excited to build out a team of Groomers at the Cottage.
Outside of work, Summer spends her time hanging out with her four cats and pet bunny! Summer is going to adopt a dog soon, but waiting until they move into their house with a back yard to give the pup plenty of space to play. Her favorite part about the job is making dogs look and feel their best. She has made so many furry friends and is extremely appreciative of her clients! Summer would eventually like to try out and offer creative grooming services, which would allow for color dye jobs on the pups.
